Why a book
Many children and families are suffering from isolation due to a rare, orphan disease. Not many people know the diseases by name or the suffering. We will build bridges towards people in need by providing more understanding through developing more information with the book.
Children will learn more about other children, their disease and mainfullness through our book in a joyfull and easy understanding way. Our comics will open their hearts.

How we do it
Storytelling is the best way to make people listen. Together with comic figures it will provide fun, trust and easy leaning. Our little animals will each present a different disease and story – suported by our charming little dog Cuba.
We will illuminate 11 different diseases one by one.

The project
The book will provide 11 stories of 11 rare diseases, will come in different languages and provided through local distributer in EU, North + South America. The first 3 languages – German, English, Spanish will be followed by French, Italian, Japanese.
We are providing the book through local partners, hospitals and specialists. All patronats and donators will be mentioned in the book by name and Logo in all languages.

Our Partner
Florian Jacot, a young and innovative well known swiss comic artist will illuminate our 11 disease into stories with 11 character / animals.
Competence Center and Patient Organisations will provide the books to their patients (children and families). We are offering patronats to privileged families and people.
